RJ-45 Modular Plug Snagless Boot Colors

Elite Electronics family of CAT-5e and CAT-6 Mod Plug Snagless Boots is designed for use with 0.25" (6.35 mm) diameter UTP networking cable.  Elite’s Mod Plug Snagless Boots are molded from a flexible engineered thermoplastic resin that meets or exceeds accepted industry standards for mechanical, electrical and environmental performance.  Our Mod Plug Snagless Boots are available in a wide-range of standard colors.  Elite Electronics requires its fabricating sources to provide a written ISO Certificate of Compliance (C of C) inclusive of the product's ISO Manufacturing Date Code, RoHS - 2002/95/EC (Directive on the Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical & Electronic Equipment) and WEEE - 2002/96/EC (Directive on Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) with each production shipment. Elite’s Mod Plug Snagless Boot's optimized strain relief design protects the RJ-45 Mod Plug's locking-tab when fabricated CAT-5, CAT-5e and CAT-6 cable assemblies are being pulled through cable ducts, overhead plenums or false flooring spaces.

Our optimized design also protects the fabricated assembly from kinking and/or abrasion during normal use.

Elite’s Mod Plug Snagless Boot is field installable and should be installed before the RJ-45 Mod Plug is terminated to the UTP cable.

Elite’s design works with both 'unshielded' and 'shielded' Mod Plugs.

Allows easy locking-clip actuation.
