Elite Electronics' D-Subminiature Connectors meet or exceed accepted electronics industry interface and packaging form-factors and the specified mechanical, electrical and environmental performance requirements and test criterion of ANSI/TIA/EIA 364 for electronic connectors; and, are RoHS Compliant.  When ordering D-Subminiature connectors, please ensure that you are ordering the correct interface configuration for your application.  Elite Electronics specifies only the highest quality raw materials for use in its D-Sub Plugs and Receptacles.  Elite Electronics requires its fabricating sources to provide a written ISO Certificate of Compliance (C of C) inclusive of the product's ISO Manufacturing Date Code, RoHS - 2002/95/EC (Directive on the Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical & Electronic Equipment) and WEEE - 2002/96/EC (Directive on Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) with each production shipment.

 

 

 

 

Elite Electronics' Series 'C,' 'S,' 'FR,' 'RA' and 'HD' D-Subminiature Connectors are fully compatible with all standard D-Subminiature connectors with corresponding pin configurations.

 

 

 

 

Two-piece glass-filled engineered thermoplastic insulator system that meets or exceeds the self-extinguishing requirements of UL 94 V-0.

Performance Characteristics.  Elite Electronics' D-Subminiature Connectors will meet or exceed the performance characteristics as specified in the most current version of ANSI/TIA/EIA 364.  Minimum electrical and environmental performance capabilities shall be as follows:

D-Subminiature Connector Mechanical Features:
       
A. Insulator:     UL 94V-0 Glass Filled Engineered Thermoplastic.
       
B. Contacts:     Stamped & Formed Brass or Phosphor Bronze.
       
C. Shell:             Stamped & Formed Steel.
       
D. Plating:
       
   1. Contacts:
       
    a. Nickel 50-microinches (complete) as under-plating.
       
    b. Gold Flash, 30-microinches or 50-microinches (complete).
       
    c. Selective Gold over the nickel plated contact area, NC100 (or equivalent lead-free solder) tinning over the nickel plated tail areas.
       
   2. Shell Housing:   
       
    a. Sulfamate Nickel (or equivalent) over the copper plated stamped and formed metal substrate; or,
       
 

 

b.

Zinc Plated with yellow chromate coating over the copper plated stamped and formed metal substrate.
